About the Event
Psychedelic Harm Reduction is a harm reduction workshop developed by the Montreal Psychedelic Society to provide basic knowledge regarding the responsible use of psychedelic substances. The first part of this session (45 min) will offer an interactive presentation covering concepts such as effects, duration, dosage, " set'n'setting," and trip-sitting. The second part will give way to a group discussion (45 min) which will allow us to identify and consider certain problems from a more concrete angle in order to meet everyone's needs.
This workshop will be given in small groups (20 people) to create a favorable learning environment, but will be offered every month (alternating french/english) so that a large number of people can participate.
The goal of Psychedelics Harm Reduction is not to encourage the use of psychoactive substances but to provide participants with tools to mitigate the risks they may encounter while using these substances.
